Ramadan 2024 Food Basket Distribution
Alahamdo Liallal, every year, Friends Of Humanity International, through its overseas collaborators, distributes Ramadan Food Ration packages. These packages contain adequate Ramadan Iftar and Sahoor basic food supplies including rice, flour, beans, sugar, tea & coffee, oils, dry milk, pasta and other items, to last a full month for a family of five, and Eid gifts for the children.
This year we are working with our overseas friends in Palestine, Rohingyan Camps -Kashmir, Occupied Kashmir, West Bengal-India, Trinidad and Pakistan to get the food baskets in the hands of the needy families before the Ramadan starts. We are now working with seven global partners, Alhamdulillah.
As usual we are trying to remit funds to all of our partners to distribute Ramadan Ration boxes before Ramadan.
Additionally, we will be distributing Ramadan Food Boxes locally in South Florida to the needy families.
We are also planning Ramadan Iftar hosted by Mayor city of Miramar in collaboration with MSA for Middle & High Schools, and other local Muslim organizations.
In addition to the Ramadan Food Boxes, every year, we distribute cooked Iftar meals to the seniors, elderly and other needy families. Cooked Iftar meals will also be distributed from Masjid Al Ansar on weekends.
